Top Ten for Teens, by Teens!

To celebrate Bealeton library’s 10th anniversary at Willow Drive, we set out to discover the Top Ten Teen Reads in Fauquier County. First we asked you each to submit your favorite young adult book titles; we received A LOT of great suggestions at all three library branches. Then we compiled a list of those nominations and put them to the vote. Throughout the summer, teens selected their ten favorite titles.

And now the results are in! Here is YOUR Ultimate Top Ten Teen list:

1 - The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

2 - Divergent series by Veronica Roth

3 - The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins

4 - Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan

5 - The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

6 - House of Hades by Rick Riordan

7 - Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card

8 - The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau

9 - Three Way Tie:
Among the Betrayed by Margaret Haddix
Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney
Holes by Louis Sachar

10 - Dork Diaries by Rachel Renee Russell
